Father God, thank You for all that You have done in my life this year.
There are so many times during the past year when I would not have made it through the day without Your power and presence. Help me to apply the lessons of 2008 in this New Year so that I will grow and become more like You, leading others to seek and know You.
I love You, Father, and praise You for all that You have in store for me in 2009.
May my life be a trophy of Your grace, mercy and love.

I thank God for 2008
The(one and only) most memorable year .. where i took a leap of faith and went into SOT 2008 and get to know a bunch of funky people.. I love you guys lots and i know that God did not send u in vain cos u have been showering me with immense love joy and brought my spiritual understanging to another level.. miss the fellowship..
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 (NIV)
"This is the day that the Lord has made.. and i will rejoice in it!!"
Set aside a few hours this week to review 2008.
1.What lessons have you learned? How did you learn them?
*dun waste time! time is precious!
2.What new truths has God given you? How are you applying those truths in your daily life?
*its alright to make mistakes, but be quick to reconized it!*
dun fall back into the same trap.
the devil will always lure you into it(past mistakes)...
3.What new perspective has God given you this year?
*do not acheive the materials things out of SELFISH gain.
my dreams and visions- let the movivation flows out as a worship to GOD so that the utimate goal = >>give Him the highest glory and praise!
In what way will that perspective >>change habits and behaviors in your life during 2009?

4.Make a step-by-step plan for implementing a daily quiet time alone with God.
Choose the place, gather your materials and select the time of day when you will most likely have a few minutes of uninterrupted time.
5.When you fail, begin again. God will honor your commitment.

Why is faith so important?
Because we cannot make ourselves righteous --
any more than a cracked window can make itself uncracked.
truth=>We have sinned and only GOD can make us righteous.
Faith(believe) then is the only thing we can do -- and even our
FAITH is a gracious gift of God!
God tests our faith
to strengthen and increase our faith for the future.
The concept of testing includes 1.refining or purifying.
It is the process of refining gold to purify it and to increase its value.
The purpose of testing is to 2.yield spiritual maturity.
We see from Abraham's life
that *God tests us for our good.* We, then, can trust Him, even during times of testing.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your handAgainst the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me(Psalm 138:7).
