God does not need any one of us.

He wants us and He would like to use us, but God does not need us.

Take away one person, and the work of God is not diminished -- it goes on.When God calls us to a ministry, it is for our benefit. If we are unwilling or impure,

He can get the work done through someone else.

We must realize that everything God asks of us

is ultimately for our benefit -- even serving Him.

The journey out of the pit of depression is a process of steps uniquely planned by your Father. He is the Guide for your journey out of the darkness.

1.Wait for God.

In Psalm 40:1"I waited patiently for the LORD."

* I had always thought of waiting as passive and even wasteful. *

waiting is active and can be a powerful spiritual experience.

When hard times come, we immediately begin to beg and bargain for rescue - for a way of escape. God loves us too much to waste our pain. It is a shallow love that always rescues easily. It is a depthless love that always rescues quickly.

*weakness and helplessness are an invitation for the power of God to take up residence and display itself in our life! *

"He gives power to the tired and worn out, and strength to the weak."

*God was totally aware of everything that we are feeling. *

Instead of hiding or trying to rationalize the darkness away,

we must be willing to admit that we are struggling with depression.

Pride always hinders authenticity.

Emotional health begins at the point of emotional integrity,

when we can be truthful enough to say to ourselves and to others "I need help!"

*We cannot be right until we choose to be real. *

2. Talking with Him

The darkness called forth the most childlike prayer of my life. Day after day, night after night, I poured out the questions I had always been afraid to ask, my deepest fears and greatest pain.

It was the most honest and powerful prayer of my life. I began to fall in love with the One who created me in my mother's womb and set me apart for Himself.

Beginnings are very important!

My journey - like yours - began in the heart and mind of God. Before I took even one breath, God wanted, loved and planned me.


You are NO accident!

There have been many times in my life when I doubted my worth and value.

I filled every waking moment with activity -- good things -- thinking that if I did enough good things, I would be good enough. It didn't work.

I can never be good enough to earn the love and favor of God.

The good news is that I don't have to be!

My worth and value rest in the fact that I am chosen by God to be His very own child.


I am loved, wanted and planned by God Himself.

Wow!

God Himself supervised our formation. We were created -- not to be a puppet -- but for an intimate relationship with God.

"I praise you because you MADE me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have DONE is wonderful. I KNOW this very well. You SAW my bones being formed as I took shape in my mother's body. When I was put together there, you SAW my body as it was formed. All the days planned for me were WRITTEN in your book before I was one day old." (NCV)

Probably there were somw moments in time, i was trying hard to earn the favor and love of God. I worked very hard at being the person I thought God wanted me to be instead of seeking Him to discover who He created me to be.

I had to stop and think about that statement for a minute, but slowly began to realize wat that means..

DO u think that sometimes we just try so hard to potray the kind of person that the *hard to pls*world(family/bosses/friends) is wanting us to be?

feel beautiful to be the kind of person that you truly are..

"But when I am afraid, I put my trust in you." Psalm 56:3

God really does have a special plan just for me-

i'm so precious and that

my highest act of obedience is to

seek that plan each and every day ...

HIs love that rescue me... to bring me to His original intention. my ONE desire is to be the person GOD has DESIGN me to be..

we are so busy that we have no time to pray to the lord, We just say, "Father, I am so busy because of Your work that I have no time to talk with you." God is grieved at these kinds of situations. (You must take the time to pray to the Lord, even though you neglect the work of God. It is essential that you first serve God in prayer.)

Love has a desire to have fellowship.

He only created you and me so that we could have fellowship with Him.
God Himself does not need anything except fellowship.
He has a great need to have fellowship with us.
Jacob's dream -- in which he sees the angels ascending and descending the ladder to heaven -- seems to be a turning point in his life. It appears to be the point at which he receives a personal relationship with the Lord.

So, too, we must have a personal relationship with God through Jesus, His Son, and our Savior, before we can experience the work of God in us and through us.


Joseph was faithful over small things, so God was able to set him over large things.

First of all.. i reali Thank God that i got to know you. you have been so sweet to me.. i can't find any others who is as devoted to me as what your actions has displayed. Trust me, i reali appreaciate you for all that you have done.. showing me the love and concern and every other matters..

truly I do not doubt that feelings that you have for me. You are a very nice guy that i thought every gal would wanna be with you... so fun so crappy.. and childish(ooops ")the way you do things.. you have a mind of your own. reali enjoyed the times that we spent with the rest of the guys around our neighbourhood.

By now u should know that I'm a gal who is straightford, i speaks my mind about anything that i feel,

whether i'm happy.. sad.. angry.. offended.. i won't hide(cos i displayed out naturally)

The way i am.. the way i get along with everyone is the same.. sometimes might be too friendly.. or too neglecting(if there's no click)
i must also admit that though i am strong headed.. i'm rather emotional*can't help it* the fact is that.. The ratio i would say is bout 8/10.(you can check out the statices)

though i know that you are a believer and no doubt you reali love God.. God had also gave you a desire to come City harvest Church.
( However due to your work commitment you are unable to commit to church)also we did a great job to influence the rest of your other friends. Its also your desire to see them getting save. Which is awesome..
( that's the primary reason why we got to know each other.. amen?)

What i wanna tell you is that i'm can be very D(insistent) of the things that i want. therefore many a times i did tell you that the kind of guy i'm looking for must flow along with visions and dreams and also embrace the same teachings that i've have been taught. knowing that you still love God despite not being able to church for two years. i'm glad tat you also fell in love with my church ya.. but like i told you.. putting God aside.. job aside..


what my heart wants is a guy whom can be more spiritual than me.. *rooted in the church*
so tat i can move up the spiritual ladder.. *keep my relationship strong!*

A healthy relationship=GOD must be RIGHT in the CENTER!

i'm so sorry that i can't allow this relationship to go further then this.. cos my cell leader also hope that its important that i should get a guy that could be rooted in church.. otherwise it would be unequally yoke. (you are who you mix around ya thru fellowship) that wat God says.. and there's only one kind of teaching.. we practice accountability.. tithing and offering.. quality quiet time with God. all these are essential to follow for ALL believers to grow spiritually.


and its a everyday process..

since we can't eye to eye in this aspect.. i thought that its also meaniless to discusse further.. or even talk about everlasting love.however and if we dun click then things might get very hard.. if this relationship is reali GOD given then what will happen WILL eventually HAPPEN!!

i think you reali need to TRUST GOD= having FAITH on that.. no doubt that i was reali touched by all your deeds but after pondering about it.. i thought its not reali true love. i was merely touched.. i understand that i have alot of male friends i get in touch with perharps that made you reali insecure... i like to be who i am that God has created me to be.. bubbly funloving.. outgoing.. the list goes on and on..

i onli thing that i reali thought we are incompatiable is that we are both pursuing differnt things.. you are career orientated. and i'm just God oreintated.

so that's why i need a guy who is Godly enough to lead me and guide me along.

therefore.. if like wat u said that GOD has sent His blessings for us to be together then no matter wat happens i believe that TIME proves everything.. if things were meant to be.. it WILL fall in place.. when the TIME is right.. Holy Spirit will put all things together.. our job is not to work but to pray and believe= "let things happens!" and the truth is

God has not given us a spirit of fear but of POWER & of LOVE & of a sound mind (2 timothy 1:7)

FEAR is the opposite of LOVE!

love and fear both operatefrom BELIEF in the unseen.

love challenges us to doubt what we see and believe what we cannot!


FEAR urges us to believe wat is seen while doubting the unseen.

FEAR DISPLACES LOVE AND LOVE CAST OUT FEAR!

when you live by the world method then you can only stay in the natural realm... however when you excercise your faith= unseen evidence. you are releasing GOD's supernatural power ya..Then it will be GOd will fight 4 you and turn things round for your benefit!

Today's Truth

"Don't be deceived, my dear brothers (and sisters). Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows"

James 1:16, 17 (NIV).

Adam and Eve lived in a perfect world. All their needs were cared for. They had perfect communion with God and each other. They were "naked and unashamed."

The only restriction placed on them was that they were not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil located in the middle of the Garden.

God warned them, "If you eat of it, you will surely die."

As they basked in the light of God's love, darkness slithered into the Garden with his plan to kill, steal and destroy the image bearers. And how did he do it?

He did it with the most powerful weapon of all...

"Now the serpent..." The great deceiver clothed himself as a serpent and slithered up to Eve with a game plan to destroy God's prized possession. He didn't come with a sword, or gun, or even a knife for his attack. He simply wielded lies.
The serpent knew Adam and Eve would not buy into a radical flamboyant denial of God, so he slithered into the garden with a twist and a turn of the truth. He began by causing Eve to doubt... "Did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden?" (Genesis 3:1).

Satan knew exactly what God had said. He was simply trying to confuse Eve. Perhaps he was evaluating just how well she knew the truth. He found out.
"We may eat fruit from the tress in the garden," Eve replied, "but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die'" (Genesis 3:3).

Bingo. She didn't know the truth that well after all. God never mentioned not touching the fruit. That seems like a pretty good idea, but it was not what God said.
Second he denied God and lied about the consequences of disobedience. Satan said, "You will not surely die" (3:4). He didn't even try to disguise the deception. He told a flat-out lie.
Finally, he told her she could be like God:

"For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil" (Genesis 3:5).

In other words, "God doesn't know what He's talking about.

He's holding out on you.

You don't need Him.

You can be your own god."

Eve rejected the truth and believed the lie. She believed that she could be like God ... in control of her own life. "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her" (Genesis 3:6).

the temptation settled in her soul and fermented into shame and condemnation. Her husband, who chose the woman over God, also felt the sickening rot of sin settle in his very soul. Suddenly shame and fear entered the world,

and Adam and Eve hid from God like wayward children.

All temptation is an attempt to get us to live our lives independent of God.

Satan is not very creative, but he is very effective.

And he has been lying to us ever since.

Why?

Because it works.
Every one of his lies springs from the idea that happiness is just a decision away. Satan wants you to believe God is holding out on you

Think about it.

Eve had at her disposal every tree in the garden except one.

Every one!

she bought the lie that the one thing she couldn't have was the one thing that would make her happy. I would be happy if... Is any of this sounding familiar to you? It should. Satan uses the same tactics with us that he used with Eve.

Eve believed the enemy's lie over God's truth. His plan worked. But what the serpent did not know was that God's amazing plan of forgiveness and grace was about to unfold. Satan did not win the battle for man's soul in the garden.

Jesus Christ won the war on Calvary's Cross.

He made a way for all mankind to regain all that Adam and Eve had lost.

Broken Mirrors


How did this happen?
Where do the lies come from?
Why is it so easy to believe the lies about who we are rather than the truth?
What is the truth?
We will look at all these questions and many more
throughout our time together. But I will tell you this—it all began
in the Garden.


After the sixth day of creation, when God looked at all He made,
He said, “It is good.” But something went terribly wrong. The enemy
crept into God’s perfect world and deceived His image bearers with
lies.

And while God’s redemptive plan has restored what the serpent
destroyed, the enemy continues to tell us lies even today.

He(devil) tells us
that we are worthless, powerless failures who are not good enough,
smart enough, or competent enough to succeed.
And it is NOT the truth!

We can speak life to ourselves and we can speak death to ourselves.

Our minds think about 130 words per minute and our mouths

(women) speak about 25,000 words in a day.



Saying, I’m so stupid, I’m such an idiot, or

I’m never going to be good
enough, can create habitual destructive thought patterns that can paralyze
a person into inactivity.

"Negative self-perceptions repeated over
time will brand themselves into our minds and eventually become
our reality. "

>>If you repeat a misbelief or lie enough times, you begin
to believe it. Nobody loves me, I don’t have any friends, or I’m so ugly
becomes your reality…even though it’s a false reality!!!

Each time we speak a lie about ourselves, the more we become bound
to it.

“For as he thinks within himself, so he is”
(Proverbs 23:7 nasb).


God’s Mirror

When we look into God’s mirror, His incredible love letter to us we
call the Bible, we discover the truth. God does love you
(Colossians3:12).

You have an entire cloud of witnesses cheering for you (Hebrews12:1).

You are God’s masterpiece…a work of beautiful art (Ephesians2:10).
You are good enough because Christ lives in you (John 14:20).
You are a chosen, holy, dearly loved child of God.

That’s the truth.

Let’s get out of the house of mirrors and start seeing ourselves as God sees us.
In one of John’s letters, he wrote,

“I have no greater joy than to hear
that my children are walking in the truth”
(3 John 4).


God has no greater joy
When we are walking in the truth, the lies are exposed.
We can recognize the lie, reject the lie, and replace the lie with truth.

Then, and only then, can we be all that God has created us to be and
do all that God has created us to do.
We can experience the abundant
life He planned all along.


I believe that God has great plans for all of us—
His Word promises
that He does.


“No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him”
(1 Corinthians 2:9).


But many of us are

not experiencing the abundant life >>

because we don’t know who we are!!

We have believed the lies that we are unloved,
unworthy, and unforgivable.

We have been looking in distorted mirrors
far too long.

God wants us to look into the only true mirror that
will tell us exactly who we are, what we have, and where we are as a
child of God—His Word.

It is time to start believing the truth.
It is time to hear God say,


“You are My child, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Are you ready to walk out of the house of mirrors once and for all?
Are you ready to begin seeing yourself as God sees you? Are you ready
to begin living the abundant life that God planned all along?

Choose the place, gather your materials and select the time of day when you will most likely have a few minutes of uninterrupted time.

Why is faith so important?

Because we cannot make ourselves righteous --

any more than a cracked window can make itself uncracked.

truth=>We have sinned and only GOD can make us righteous.

Faith(believe) then is the only thing we can do -- and even our

FAITH is a gracious gift of God!

God tests our faith

to strengthen and increase our faith for the future.

The concept of testing includes 1.refining or purifying.

It is the process of refining gold to purify it and to increase its value.

The purpose of testing is to 2.yield spiritual maturity.
We see from Abraham's life

that *God tests us for our good.* We, then, can trust Him, even during times of testing.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your handAgainst the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me(Psalm 138:7).

GUESS WAT??

THIS IS nothing new.

ITS THE same old story

that began in the Garden of Eden

with the SAME antagonist deceiving the leading lady.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

Let's start at the very beginning.

Five days after time began,

the Creator of the Universe gazed at all He had made and was not completely satisfied. Yes, as the sun set on each of the first five days on God's kingdom calendar, He said,

"It is good."

But there was something missing.

...

...

...

...

...

Something more.

...

...

...

...

Someone more.

The curtain rose. Everything had to be perfect for God's grand finale. The angels gathered round as God announced the final scene on the grand drama of

"In the Beginning."

God began with an announcement...

"Let us make man in Our own image."

This being will be different from all the rest.

With body, soul, and spirit,

man WILL enter into a

relationship

with the Creator on a

personal

and

intimate

level...

So God knelt on the ground and gathered a handful of dirt. He spat on the dust and began forming the most magnificent creation to date. With His very fingertips, God fashioned man's inward parts: capillaries, nerve endings, brain cells, hair follicles, eyelashes, taste buds. Meticulously and deliberately, the Artist created a masterpiece of divine design.
And as the lifeless form lay before the celestial audience,

God placed His mouth upon the nostrils of man and breathed life into his waiting lungs.

A collective gasp ran through the crowd as man's lungs

filled with holy oxygen and he took his first breath.

As if God flipped the breaker switch of life,

man's heart began beating,

the lungs began expanding,

and the eyes began fluttering open to see.

And the curtain began to fall on this,

the sixth day of creation.

[31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.

So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. ]

Wait!"

the Creator cried.

"My work is not done.

It is not good for man to be alone!

I will create a helper suitable for him.

A companion like him, but yet, oh so different."
So, mid-air, the curtain rises to expose the day,

and God -- the Us, the Three-In-One, began to fashion the grand finale...woman.

Can't you just see it now?

Can't you sense the excitement of the angels as they hovered low?

From the very beginning of time,

man was set apart.

He was uniquely designed for a specific purpose

as God's image bearer

to rule the earth...

26 Then God said,

"Let Us make man in Our image,

according to Our likeness;

let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,

over the birds of the air, and over the cattle,

over all F the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

27 So God created man in His own image;

in the image of God He created him;

male and female He created them.

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them,

"Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

In the beginning, God!

That is the way it is throughout the Bible.

"Every knee [1] bow . . .

every tongue [1] confess that Jesus Christ is Lord"

(Philippians 2:10-11).

God wants to be first and foremost in your life.

He is the Author of the first creation,

and He is the Author of the new creation in your heart.

In the first creation, the wind and the waves obey the Lord --

they have no choice.

In the new creation,

there is a choice:

to obey or not to obey --

1. the pleasures of sin for a moment

or 2. the favor of fellowship for a lifetime.

Have you chosen to put God first in your life?
